Goober World is a platformer built around a squishy little character called a goober, running and jumping through a string of hazard-filled stages. Each level is a fresh obstacle course of spinning saws, launchpads and deadly floors standing between you and the exit.
The core loop is classic platformer precision: run at speed, time a jump or dash to clear a gap or a blade, and reach the goal without getting caught out by a level's specific trick. Clearing stages also unlocks new goober characters with their own look, so there's a light collection layer alongside the platforming.
Controls
- Run: A/D or the Left/Right arrow keys
- Jump: W, Z, or the Up arrow key
- Dash: hold X or the spacebar
Tips
- Dash is held, not tapped — use it to clear wide gaps or slip past a saw's swing rather than saving it for emergencies.
- Launchpads throw you further than a normal jump, so line up your run before you hit one instead of jumping into it from a standstill.
It's a good fit for short, focused sessions if you like tight platforming over story or exploration — die, retry, and shave a few seconds off the next attempt.
