Paper Io 2 Game

Paper.io 2 is a fast-paced multiplayer arcade game about claiming as much space as possible. You control a block that leaves a colored trail wherever it goes. Your goal is to draw a path out of your safe zone and loop back into it—everything inside that new loop becomes your territory. The map is shared with players trying to do the exact same thing, and the bigger you get, the more of a target you become.

The tension comes from how vulnerable you are when expanding. Whenever you are outside your territory, your trail is exposed. If another player cuts through your trail before you can close the loop, you are instantly eliminated. Of course, you can do the exact same thing to them. It creates a constant push-and-pull between taking safe, tiny bites of the map and risking massive, greedy loops to steal the lead.

Controls

• Mouse / Touch: Drag to steer your block in any direction.
• Arrow Keys / WASD: Steer the block (on desktop).

Tips

• Stay near your borders: The further you stray from your own color, the easier it is for someone to cut you off. Taking small, quick loops is much safer than trying to claim half the map at once.
• Bait your opponents: If you see someone getting close, you can briefly step out of your territory to tempt them into chasing you, then quickly turn back and cut their trail while they're exposed.
• The edges are your friend: The outer walls of the map cannot be crossed. If you build your territory along a wall, you have one less direction to defend from.
