About 8bit Fiesta

8Bit Fiesta is a retro pixel-art platformer built for a shared keyboard. You jump between tricky little levels, dodge spikes and pointy hazards, and grab collectibles on your way to the end, all wrapped in a chunky 8-bit look and a chiptune soundtrack. Miss a jump and it's back to the last checkpoint, so timing matters more than speed.

Pick "No Friend" mode to run the levels solo, or switch to "Multiplayer" and hand out keyboard zones to up to three friends on the same machine, racing or fooling around through the same stages together. It's a pick-up-and-play game more than a long session one — a few levels at a time is the natural rhythm.

Controls

Everyone shares one keyboard, split into four zones:

  • Player 1: Arrow keys to move, M and N for actions
  • Player 2: WASD to move, T and R for actions
  • Player 3: Numpad 8/4/5/6 to move, 1 and 0 for actions
  • Player 4: U/H/J/K to move, P and O for actions

Tips

  • Playing solo, stick to "No Friend" mode rather than trying to babysit a second zone yourself.
  • Learn your zone's action keys before a level starts — the four schemes don't overlap, so muscle memory doesn't transfer between player slots.
  • Hazards are placed to punish rushing; a slower, deliberate jump clears more of them than a fast one.

Good for a quick solo run or for splitting a keyboard four ways with people in the same room.

8bit Fiesta FAQ

Can I play 8Bit Fiesta alone?
Yes, choose "No Friend" mode to play the levels by yourself instead of splitting the keyboard with others.
How many players can play at once?
Up to four players can play locally on one keyboard, each using their own set of movement and action keys.
What are the controls?
Player 1 uses the arrow keys plus M and N, Player 2 uses WASD plus T and R, Player 3 uses the numpad plus 1 and 0, and Player 4 uses U/H/J/K plus P and O.
What happens if I hit a hazard?
Touching spikes or other hazards sends you back to the level's last checkpoint, so you can retry without restarting the whole level.
