Zen Blocks is a physics puzzle about restraint rather than reflexes. Blocks drift down over a calm ocean backdrop, and your only job is to grab each one and set it onto the stack without tipping the tower over. There's no timer pushing you, no enemies to dodge — just weight, balance, and the small satisfaction of a stack that keeps climbing straight.
The challenge creeps in gradually: later blocks come in odd shapes and sizes, and a stack that looked solid a few pieces ago can start leaning the moment you add an off-centre one. Read the wobble, nudge the block into a spot that settles it, and let go. A session is less about winning or losing and more about seeing how tall and how steady you can build before gravity disagrees.
Controls
Hold down the mouse cursor, or tap and hold on a touchscreen, to grab a block. Release to drop it into place. That's the entire input — one hold-and-release action for every block.
Tips
- Watch the tower's lean before you release — it's easier to correct a small tilt early than to fix a tall stack that's already leaning hard.
- Aim for the centre of the block beneath, not the edge; even a slightly off-centre landing compounds as the stack grows.
- Slow down as the tower gets taller — the margin for error shrinks with every added block.
It's a good fit for short, unwinding sessions — something to play with one hand while your mind is elsewhere, rather than a game that demands full concentration.
