Sushi Party drops you into a colorful, kawaii-styled arena where dozens of players glide around as growing trails of sushi. It runs on the familiar .io snake formula: steer with the mouse, gobble up scattered food, and get longer with every bite, while running into another player's body ends your run and scatters your collected food for everyone else to grab.
There's no round timer pushing you along — a session lasts as long as you can avoid getting boxed in by something bigger. Terminarch Games, the two-person Dutch studio behind it, gives the game a lighter, more comic feel than most .io battlers and builds progression on top of the core loop: more than 30 unlockable hats, achievements, and — per the game's own patch notes — an added 2-player mode and a mid-match revive option.
Controls
- Move: guide your snake with the mouse cursor
- Speed up: hold the left mouse button for a temporary boost
- Also playable on phone and tablet with touch controls
Tips
- Boosting shrinks you slightly, so save it for closing a gap or escaping rather than using it as your default speed.
- Circle around bigger snakes instead of crossing their path — a stray head-on cross is the fastest way to die early.
- Loose food near a spot where another player just died is worth a detour; it's often the quickest way to jump up a size bracket.
Sushi Party suits short, replayable sessions more than one long sitting — drop in, see how big you can get, and go again right after a death.
