About Super Oscar

Super Oscar is a classic run-and-jump platformer in the Mario mold: guide Oscar (or one of three unlockable heroes) across six themed worlds and 35 levels, hopping between platforms, dodging pits, and clearing out more than 50 kinds of enemies along the way. Coins scattered through each level pay for costumes and upgrades, so there's a reason to explore rather than just sprint to the exit.

What keeps it going past the first world is the upgrade loop: your jump and your fireball both get stronger as you collect and progress, so later levels lean on skills you didn't have at the start. It's built for short, replayable runs through one level at a time rather than a single long sitting.

Controls

Keyboard. Arrow keys to move, Spacebar to jump, Z to throw a fireball.

Tips

  • Grab coins as you go rather than backtracking for them — they fund costume and upgrade unlocks that make later worlds noticeably easier.
  • Your fireball range and jump height improve with progress, so a level that feels too hard early on is often easier to revisit after an upgrade or two.
  • Enemy variety ramps up per world — take a beat to learn a new enemy's pattern before rushing past it.
