About Sleepless Pug

Sleepless Pug is a turn-based puzzle platformer from Nitrome about a loyal dog looking after its sleepwalking owner. The human wanders forward on their own, oblivious to the danger ahead, and it's up to the pug to keep them safe.

You never move the sleepwalker directly. Instead, each level is a small logic puzzle: open the right door at the right moment, or block the wrong one, and the human turns down a safer path instead of walking into a hazard. There are 19 levels, and each one adds a new wrinkle to that same core idea.

Controls

WASD or the arrow keys move the pug.

Tips

  • The sleepwalker keeps moving in a straight line until a wall, a door, or you changes their path — read the whole route before acting.
  • It's turn-based, so there's no clock. Take the time to plan out a level rather than opening doors on the fly.

It's a good fit for short, puzzle-focused sessions rather than fast reflex play — think a few minutes at a time working out each layout.
