Screw Jam Puzzle is a spatial-planning puzzle by PEGASUS. Every level is a plate crowded with colored screws and fixed glass panels, and your job is to click each screw loose and send it to the toolbox that shares its color. Nothing moves on its own — a screw only comes free when you click it, so the challenge is figuring out which one to pull first without boxing in the pieces underneath.
Boards start simple with a couple of colors and open space, then stack on more screws, more colors, and tighter glass mazes that block the direct route to a toolbox. Clear a level and its screws carry over toward building a small city of monuments, which gives the puzzle-solving a reason to keep going past a single round.
Controls
Mouse only: click a screw to unscrew it and send it to the matching-color toolbox. There is nothing to drag or hold, just where and when you click.
Tips
- Look over the whole board before your first click — the glass panels don't move, and one careless click can jam a screw you needed to clear a different color first.
- Clear the screws with an open path to their toolbox before touching ones tucked behind glass, so you don't paint yourself into a corner late in the level.
It's a quiet, mouse-only break for anyone who likes color-matching puzzles with a bit of forward planning, and the monument-building carrot gives a reason to clear one more board.
