Planet Merge takes the watermelon-game merge formula and sends it into orbit. You launch small planets one at a time toward a shared orbit, where gravity pulls them together — when two matching planets touch, they fuse into the next size up. Miss your aim and a planet can drift out of reach or crowd the orbit, so most of the skill is in timing your shots and picking the right moment to launch rather than just where.

The run keeps stacking: fuse enough matching planets and you climb from small moons all the way up through rocky worlds to giant gas giants, each new size unlocking as you merge your way up the chain. It's a short, restart-friendly loop — one bad launch doesn't end things immediately, but a crowded orbit eventually will.

• Launch toward open space in the orbit rather than straight at an existing cluster — you want room for the planet to drift into a matching pair, not to get stuck against mismatched ones
• Bigger planets are worth protecting: losing one you've already built up to a crowded, unreachable spot costs more progress than a wasted small launch
• Slow, deliberate aiming beats rapid-fire launching once the orbit starts filling up — a rushed shot is the usual cause of a crowded, unrecoverable board
