About Mowing Mazes

Mowing Mazes puts you behind a lawnmower and drops you into a garden built entirely out of hedge maze puzzles. Each level is a tangle of grassy corridors: mow your way through the growth, find the exit, and the maze resets into something trickier for the next round.

It plays like a puzzle game wearing a lawn-care theme — the mowing is really pathfinding, working out which turns actually lead somewhere and which just double back on themselves. Along the way you meet a cast of odd garden characters and slowly work toward escaping the game's central maze, the Evermaze, which unlocks as you clear enough of the smaller ones.

Controls

Move with WASD or the arrow keys. On touchscreens, swipe in the direction you want the mower to go.

Tips

  • Scout a maze's shape before committing to a direction — dead ends cost you real time since you have to mow back out the way you came.
  • Later mazes introduce trickier layouts, so don't assume the pattern from an early level still applies.
  • If a level feels like a dead loop, it usually means there's an unmowed side path you skipped rather than a genuinely unsolvable maze.

It suits players who like their puzzles low-stress and a little quirky — closer to an idle maze-runner than a twitchy arcade game, and it runs straight in the browser with nothing to install.

How do you move in Mowing Mazes?

No, Mowing Mazes runs directly in the browser.
Does the game get harder as you go?
Yes, later mazes use more complex layouts than the early levels, so old patterns won't always apply.
