About Gunblood

Gunblood is a quick-draw duel game: you and an opponent face off in a dusty western street, and the only thing that matters is who fires first after the signal. Wait too long and you eat a bullet; jump the gun before the cue and you shoot yourself in the foot instead. It is a game about nerve and reflexes rather than aiming skill, since your crosshair is usually already on target well before the shot counts.

Between duels there is a trick-shot bonus round where bottles get tossed into the air and you have to hit them before they land, which doubles as practice for your draw speed and reload timing. Win enough duels in a row and you move on to tougher gunslingers who react faster and punish hesitation harder.

Controls

Aim with the mouse and click to fire. To reload, click and hold, then drag the mouse down before releasing — this mimics cocking the hammer, and fumbling it costs precious time mid-duel.

Tips

  • Keep your cursor on your opponent's chest before the draw signal so the only thing left to do is click.
  • Never fire before the actual cue — an early shot in Gunblood costs you the round outright, it doesn't just miss.
  • Practice your reload during the bottle bonus rounds; a clean draw-fire-reload rhythm is what separates the later opponents from the early ones.

It runs entirely in the browser with nothing to install, and a single duel takes seconds — good for a quick reflex test between games.

Gunblood FAQ

How do I play Gunblood?
Wait for the draw signal, then click to shoot your opponent. Firing too early costs you the round, so timing matters more than speed alone.
How do you reload in Gunblood?
Click and hold the mouse button, drag down to cock the hammer, then release. Fumbling the motion wastes time you don't have mid-duel.
What are the bonus rounds for?
Between duels you shoot bottles tossed into the air, which is good practice for your draw speed and reload timing before facing tougher opponents.
Do I need to install anything to play?
No, Gunblood runs entirely in your browser with nothing to download or install.
