Eugene's Life drops you into a plasticine world as a lump of clay with one job: save it. You inflate, squeeze, and bounce your way across obstacle-filled levels toward a finish flag, using your own stretchiness as the main tool — there's no weapon here, just how far you can puff up or flatten down to fit through a gap.
Every level is built like a small mechanical puzzle. Gearboxes, springs, levers, and moving platforms block the direct route, and the fun is working out the order to trigger them in so your blob of clay survives the trip. It's a platformer, but the physics of a squishy, inflatable body do most of the actual puzzle-solving.
Controls
- A/D or Left/Right Arrow: move
- W or Up Arrow: inflate
- S or Down Arrow: descend / deflate
Tips
- Inflate before a jump you'd otherwise fall short of — a bigger, lighter blob clears wider gaps than a flat one.
- Deflate to slip through narrow gaps or under obstacles that a fully inflated shape can't fit past.
- Watch how machines in each level are timed before committing to a route; most hazards move on a pattern rather than randomly.
It's a good fit for players who like platformers with a physics gimmick to lean on, rather than pure reflex jumping.
