Duck Life 4, made by Wix Games, is a training-and-racing game: you raise a duckling from scratch, put it through mini-games that build up running, swimming, flying, climbing and reaction skills, then send it into tournament races against rival ducks.
Progress runs through six themed worlds — Grassland, Swamp, Glacier, Mountains, City and Volcano — each with its own shop, rivals and races. Prize money from racing feeds back into training and gear, so a session alternates between short skill drills and races that test whether the training actually paid off, all the way up to a final race against the reigning champion.
Controls
The speed and endurance training programs use the left and right arrow keys to move. Reaction-based training, where you're dodging obstacles, uses the number keys 1-4 instead.
Tips
- Don't max out one skill and ignore the rest — most races and tournaments test a mix, so a duck that's only fast on land struggles the moment a race needs swimming or climbing.
- Spend early race winnings on training upgrades before cosmetics — hats and hairstyles are purely for looks and don't affect performance.
- Repeat cheaper mini-games a few extra times before a big race if a skill is lagging behind the others; the tournaments scale up in difficulty as you move between worlds.
It suits players who like a slower, numbers-go-up training loop broken up by short arcade-style challenges, more than straight reflex racing.
