About Doodle Race

Doodle Race starts with a blank car, not a garage full of unlocked ones. You sketch your own vehicle by hand, choosing the shape of the body and wheels, then color it in and slap on stickers before ever touching the track. It's less a racer with a customization tab bolted on and more a drawing toy that happens to end in a race.

Once your doodle is ready, it drives. You'll hit jump ramps, dodge obstacles and scoop up coins across a handful of wild, hand-drawn-looking worlds. Runs are short, so the loop is really: draw something dumb or stylish, see how it handles, then go draw another one.

Controls

  • Draw your car: mouse (click and drag to sketch)
  • Jump: W or Up arrow
  • Move left/right: A/D or the Left/Right arrow keys
  • On touchscreens: tap to draw, swipe/tap to steer and jump

It suits anyone who wants a quick creative outlet more than a serious racing challenge — draw, race, repeat.

Doodle Race FAQ

Do I really draw my own car?
Yes — before each run you sketch the body and wheels yourself with the mouse, then race whatever you drew.
What are the controls?
Use W or Up to jump and A/D or the Left/Right arrows to move once you're racing; drawing is done with the mouse. On mobile, tap and swipe instead.
Does my car's shape affect how it drives?
A wobbly or oddly shaped drawing can handle differently on ramps and jumps, which is part of the fun of sketching your own design.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes, Doodle Race runs in the browser on mobile with touch controls for drawing and steering.
