Basketball Legends 2020 is a fast, arcade take on street basketball built by Madpuffers, the studio behind Moto X3M and Basketball Stars. Big-headed caricatures of real NBA stars run the court, and a match plays out as quick drives, blocks, and highlight dunks rather than a slow half-court set.
Games run 1v1 or 2v2, and the physics reward timing over positioning — a well-placed dash past a defender or a chained dunk combo matters more than realistic footwork. A solo tournament mode lets one player work through a ladder of bots, while two people on the same keyboard can play a full match head-to-head or team up in co-op, so it works as a couch pass-and-play game as much as a solo round.
Controls
Player One: WASD to move, B to shoot or perform the current action, S to pump-fake or block, V for a super shot, double-tap D to dash.
Player Two: Arrow keys to move, L to shoot or perform the current action, Down arrow to pump-fake or block, K for a super shot, double-tap Left arrow to dash.
Tips
- Dashes only trigger on a double-tap, not a held key — tap twice quickly in the direction you want to blow past a defender.
- Pump-fake before driving to the rim; it baits an early block attempt and opens a clean lane.
- Save the super shot for a possession where a miss won't cost you the game — it takes a moment to wind up and leaves you exposed if it's blocked.
- In 2v2, look for whichever teammate gets left open under the rim after a fake draws the defense.
It suits short sessions and split-screen matches with a friend on one keyboard more than a long single-player grind.
