Yahtzee Yatzy Yams is a straight digital take on the classic dice game, built by Playtouch. You roll five dice, and on each turn you get up to three rolls total — after the first roll you choose which dice to keep and which to re-roll, trying to steer the result toward a category you still need.
Once you're happy with a roll (or you're out of rolls), you lock that result into one open box on your scorecard: pairs and three-or-four-of-a-kind boxes, a full house, small and large straights, the top-scoring Yahtzee itself, or a catch-all Chance box if nothing else fits. Every box gets used exactly once, so the real game is deciding when to gamble on a big category and when to settle for a safe score in a box you'd otherwise waste later.
Controls
Mouse or tap only — click the dice you want to keep between rolls, click the roll button to re-roll the rest, then click the scorecard box you want to fill.
Tips
- Don't force a Yahtzee too early — it's the highest-scoring box, but chasing it every turn burns rolls you could spend filling easier categories.
- Fill your weakest, hardest-to-hit boxes (large straight, full house) when the dice happen to fall your way, rather than saving them for last and hoping.
- Use Chance as a pressure valve late in the game, when nothing else is close, rather than early when better boxes are still open.
It suits anyone who likes a short, replayable game of odds and decision-making rather than reflexes — each round only takes a few minutes, and the scorecard resets clean every time.
