About Train Master

Train Master turns the classic snake formula into a rail puzzle. You steer a growing train through a network of tracks, switching it onto new lines to scoop up stranded passengers — but every passenger you pick up adds another car behind you, and clipping your own train ends the run instantly.

Each level is really a short planning problem: work out an order for the pickups that never forces your ever-longer train back over its own path. It plays fast, but a level rarely rewards rushing in without a rough route in mind first.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or WASD to steer the train at each junction
  • Click and drag on the track to set a route directly
  • Space or Enter to move on once a level is cleared

Tips

  • Plan the pickup order before you move — your train only gets longer, never shorter, so early choices box in your later options.
  • Grab passengers on dead-end spurs first; loop tracks are safer to save for last since there's more room to dodge your own cars.
  • At a junction, think one switch ahead instead of just steering toward the nearest passenger — the shortest path isn't always the safest one.

It suits short, focused sessions — a few minutes of route-planning per level, in the browser with nothing to install.

Train Master FAQ

How do you control Train Master?
Steer with the arrow keys or WASD at each junction, or click and drag directly on the track to set a route. Press Space or Enter to continue once a level is cleared.
What makes you lose a level?
Crashing your train into one of its own cars. Since the train only grows longer as you collect passengers, later turns get riskier if you didn't plan ahead.
Can you play Train Master on mobile?
Yes — the click-and-drag steering works the same way with touch, so it plays fine on a phone or tablet browser.
