About Swimming Pro

Swimming Pro is an arcade swim-meet game, not a simulation: you take one lane against seven rival swimmers from national teams and race down the pool on timing and rhythm rather than realistic stroke mechanics. Pick a swimmer, choose an event, and it's a straight sprint to the far wall and back.

Speed comes from mashing the boost keys in a steady rhythm to keep your power up without draining your energy bar dry, then nailing the flip turn at the wall for a burst out of it. Miss the turn timing or burn out your energy early and the field catches up fast — the whole race is won or lost in those few seconds at the wall as much as in the straight swimming.

Controls

  • Left/Right Arrow keys — mash them alternately during each length to build your swimmer's power.
  • Space bar — press exactly when the turn indicator swings to the centre of its arc for a perfect wall turn.
  • On touch devices, on-screen buttons replace the arrow keys and the turn press, with the same timing.

Tips

  • Watch the energy bar, not just your mashing speed — if it's dropping fast, ease off for a moment rather than mashing harder, since an empty bar slows you down more than a steady rhythm loses.
  • Start watching the turn indicator before you reach the wall so you can react the instant it crosses centre, instead of guessing on arrival.
  • Try a shorter event from the challenge select screen before jumping into a full career run, to get a feel for the turn timing with less riding on it.

Career progress and best times are saved locally in your browser, so they'll be there next time you open the game on the same device — just not in private browsing, and not on a different browser or device.

Swimming Pro FAQ

What are the controls in Swimming Pro?
Mash the Left and Right arrow keys during each length to build power, then press Space right as the turn indicator hits the centre of its arc for a perfect wall turn. On touch devices, on-screen buttons do the same job.
Does Swimming Pro save my progress?
Yes, career scores and times are saved in your browser's local storage, so they carry over between visits on the same browser and device — but not in private browsing, and not on a different device.
Can I play as different countries?
Yes, before a race you pick a swimmer competing under one of eight national teams: USA, China, UK, France, Australia, Germany, Italy, and Brazil.
Is Swimming Pro playable on mobile?
Yes, it runs in the browser with on-screen touch buttons that mirror the keyboard's boost-and-turn timing controls.
