About Super Falling Fred

Super Falling Fred puts a floppy ragdoll character into freefall down an endless vertical shaft, and your only job is to keep his head in one piece. As the camera drags him down past ledges, spikes and swinging hazards, you nudge him left and right through the gaps, watching his limbs flop realistically with every near miss.

It's the latest entry in Dedalord's long-running Fred series, the studio behind Running Fred and Skiing Fred, and it keeps the same dark sense of humor: Fred's skull is his weak point, so a clean run is less about dodging everything and more about protecting one specific body part while the rest of him bounces around it. Coins picked up along the way carry over between runs, letting you buy power-ups or unlock a new face to send down the shaft next.

Controls

  • Left / Right arrow keys — steer Fred sideways to slip through gaps
  • Up / Down arrow keys — adjust his fall

Tips

  • Protect the head above everything else — a hit almost anywhere else on the ragdoll is survivable, a hit to the skull usually isn't
  • Small, early corrections beat last-second dodges once you're falling fast — his limbs keep swinging after you let go of a key
  • Spend coins on unlocking a new character now and then rather than hoarding them; several of the cast (Zombie Fred, Crash T. Dummy, Emotika Diva, and others) are just reskins, but the variety keeps runs feeling fresh

It plays in short, chaotic bursts, which makes it a good pick for a quick break rather than a long session — one bad wobble and the run is over, so most rounds last well under a minute.

Super Falling Fred FAQ

Who made Super Falling Fred?
Dedalord, the Argentina-based studio behind the whole Fred series, including Running Fred and Skiing Fred.
What are the controls?
The arrow keys steer Fred as he falls — left and right to slip through gaps, up and down to adjust his fall.
What's the actual objective?
Survive as long as possible. Fred's skull is his weak point, so keeping his head clear of hazards matters more than dodging every single obstacle.
What do coins do?
Coins collected during a fall can be spent on power-ups or on unlocking other playable characters from the Fred cast.
