About Slime Laboratory 2 - Play Online for Free! | Poki

Slime Laboratory 2 picks up right where the original left off: your green blob gets shot out of a building and lands in a mysterious genetic laboratory, and you have to squeeze, dodge and climb your way back out. It's a physics-based platformer where the slime itself is the puzzle — soft, bouncy, and able to flatten into gaps a normal character couldn't fit through.

Fifteen levels take you deeper into the lab's traps and hazards, and partway through the slime absorbs a pink liquid that gives it a mouth and a stretchy tongue. From that point on, plenty of the lab's buttons and levers are just out of reach until you stretch toward them, which turns later levels into as much a reach-and-solve puzzle as a dodge-the-hazard platformer. It ends on the same kind of cliffhanger as the first game, setting up whatever the slime falls into next.

Controls

Arrow keys or WASD to move and jump, Down or S to crouch and flatten through tight gaps, and Spacebar to stretch your tongue once you've gained the ability.

Tips

  • Crouch early and often — plenty of gaps look impassable until you flatten into them, and hesitating near a trap usually costs you the level.
  • Once you have the tongue, look for buttons or levers slightly out of normal reach before assuming a path is blocked.
  • Traps in this lab tend to punish rushing more than slow platforming does, so take hazard-heavy rooms at a walking pace rather than a sprint.

If you played the first Slime Laboratory, the controls will feel immediately familiar — this one just adds the tongue mechanic and a tighter set of traps on top.

How do I get through narrow gaps?
Press Down or S to flatten the slime, which lets it squeeze through gaps a normal-height jump can't clear.
How does the tongue ability work?
After absorbing a pink liquid partway through the game, the slime gains a mouth and can stretch its tongue with Spacebar to reach buttons and levers that are otherwise out of range.
How many levels does the game have?
There are 15 levels, ending on a cliffhanger that sets up another sequel.
Do I need to have played the first Slime Laboratory?
No, the controls and mechanics are self-contained, though the intro cutscene connects directly to the first game's ending.
