Shapes is a quiet, one-input puzzle game built around a single idea: every level hides a picture behind a jumble of rotated polygon fragments, and your only job is to turn each piece until the whole thing clicks into place. There's no timer pushing you and no fail state waiting to punish a wrong guess — you just keep rotating pieces until the outline resolves into something recognizable.
The pace is deliberately slow. Each fragment only has a few valid orientations, so a lot of the challenge is reading the picture as it half-forms and figuring out which piece belongs where before you start spinning it. It plays well as a short break rather than a session you sit down for on purpose.
Controls
Tap a fragment (or click it with the left mouse button) to rotate it into place. That's the entire control scheme — no keyboard, no drag-and-drop.
Tips
- Rotate the pieces along the edges of the image first — their correct orientation is usually easier to guess than pieces buried in the middle.
- If a fragment's edges don't line up with its neighbors after a spin, give it another tap rather than assuming it's already correct; some pieces need more than one rotation to reach their final position.
- Step back and look at the overall shape emerging every few pieces — it's often faster to spot what's missing than to solve fragment by fragment.
It's a good fit for anyone who likes low-stakes visual puzzles — the kind of game you can pick up for a couple of minutes and put down without losing progress or feeling rushed.
