Puppet Master, from Freeze Nova, is a ragdoll shooting game built entirely around stress relief. A limp puppet hangs in the middle of the screen, and your job is to build up an arsenal — knives, machine guns, rocket launchers and more — and unload it, watching physics fling the puppet around with every hit.

The catch is that you don't start with the good stuff. You earn better weapons by merging pairs of matching ones into a stronger version, so a session is really two loops at once: grind out damage to unlock new gear, then combine duplicates to push your arsenal further up the chain.

Mouse only — click to select and fire each weapon. It's a desktop game, not built for touch.

Tips

• Don't spend every weapon the moment you get it — holding a pair of matching ones to merge is usually worth more than firing them separately.
• Rotate through your unlocked weapons rather than spamming one; damage progression is what unlocks the next tier.
• Rocket-class weapons and explosives tend to rack up damage fastest once you've unlocked them, so prioritize merging toward those.

It's a short, low-commitment kind of game — good for a few minutes of destruction rather than a long session.
