Penalty Rivals is a soccer shootout game from Happylander where the whole match comes down to one thing: beating the goalkeeper from the penalty spot. Pick your kit, step up to the ball, and time your shot against a keeper who's actively trying to read where you're aiming.
Every kick is a small guessing game — watch the goalkeeper's stance and movement, then swipe to place your shot in the gap they've left open. Miss the timing or aim straight at the keeper and the save comes easy; catch them leaning the wrong way and the ball finds the net.
Controls
Penalty Rivals is played with a swipe, or a mouse drag on desktop, to aim and kick — there's no keyboard involved.
Tips
- Watch the goalkeeper before you commit to a shot — their positioning usually telegraphs which side they're favoring.
- Aim for the corners rather than the middle of the goal; a shot straight down the middle is the easiest one for a keeper to save.
- Don't rush the swipe — a controlled, well-aimed shot beats a fast, sloppy one.
It's built for quick, replayable rounds — a good fit for anyone who wants a few penalty kicks' worth of tension without committing to a full match.
