Neon War is an arcade shooter built around one glowing cannon at the bottom of the screen. It fires on its own, lobbing balls straight up, so the whole game comes down to keeping it under the right target as numbered blocks drift down toward you.

Each block shows a number — that's how many hits it takes to break. Slide the cannon into position, let it do the shooting, and prioritize the blocks that are about to reach the bottom before the ones with more hits to spare. Runs earn you upgrades for damage, fire rate, health and a pet helper, so later attempts start a little stronger than the last.

Controls

Hold the left mouse button and slide to move the cannon left and right. It aims and fires by itself.

Tips

• Watch the numbers, not just the shapes — clearing a low-number block takes pressure off faster than chipping away at a tough one.
• Since the cannon aims and fires by itself, your only job is positioning — stay under whichever block is closest to reaching the bottom.
