Moving Blocks is a grid puzzle about timing, not just placement. You slide colored blocks across a board to clear lines and fill gaps, but every piece you nudge moves together with the others at the same time — so a move that looks safe on one side of the grid can jam a block somewhere else. Reading the whole board before you commit is the actual skill here.
Each level starts calm and tightens up fast: more blocks, tighter gaps, and less room to shuffle pieces out of a dead end. A hint button is there if a layout has you stuck, but working through the puzzle yourself is where the game earns the "just one more level" feeling.
Controls
- W, A, S, D or the arrow keys to move blocks
- Tap and swipe on touchscreens
Tips
- Remember that all blocks move at once — check what a slide does to pieces on the far side of the board, not just the one you're aiming.
- Clear the edges of the grid first when you can; blocks stuck against a wall have fewer safe moves later.
- Use the hint button before you burn several moves guessing on a level that's fully jammed.
Good fit for short breaks — each puzzle is quick to attempt, quick to fail, and quick to try again.
