Max and Mink Game

Max and Mink is a two-player platformer built around one simple idea: these two can't get through a level alone. Max is the bigger of the pair and can stretch and bend to give the smaller Mink a boost onto ledges neither could reach by itself. Every stage is a short puzzle room built from switches, buttons and moving platforms that only opens up once both characters are working together.

You can play it solo, hopping between Max and Mink yourself, or split the keyboard with a friend and each take one character. Either way the pace is unhurried — there's no timer pressuring you, so most of a session is spent reading a room, figuring out which of the pair needs to go first, and nudging blocks and buttons into place until the exit door opens.

Controls

One character moves with the arrow keys, the with W, A, S and D (Z and Q also work if your keyboard is set to AZERTY). Playing alone, you'll switch back and forth between the two sets of keys; playing with someone else, just split them across the keyboard.

Tips

• If one of you can't reach a ledge, try sending the character up first — Max's stretch is often the way past a gap Mink can't jump.
• Some floor sections give way once you stand on them, so don't stop to think while crossing — keep moving toward the next solid platform.
• Stuck on a room? Look for a switch you haven't pressed yet rather than a jump you haven't tried — most of the puzzle is sequencing, not reflexes.

It's a good pick for a relaxed co-op session with someone else on the same keyboard, or for solo players who enjoy puzzle-platformers that reward patience over speed.
