About Math Mahjong Relax

Math Mahjong Relax takes the layout of mahjong solitaire and swaps the usual "match identical tiles" rule for something sharper: every pair you clear has to add up to exactly ten. It turns a familiar shape into a quiet mental-math exercise instead of a memory game.

A tile is free to pick when nothing sits on top of it and at least one side is open. Find two free tiles whose numbers sum to ten — 3 and 7, 4 and 6, a 10 with another 10 — and they clear. Keep working outward through the stack until the board is empty.

Controls

  • Click or tap two free tiles to pair them
  • Use the hint button if you can't spot a valid pair
  • Use undo to take back your last move

Tips

  • Scan the whole board before your first move — plan which stacks you'll need to open up, not just the first pair you spot
  • Clear tiles that are blocking multiple others before chasing easy pairs elsewhere
  • Save hints for positions where you're genuinely stuck, not for pairs you could find with another look

There's no timer pushing you, so it plays well as a short mental break or a longer, unhurried session — a fit for anyone who likes traditional mahjong layouts but wants arithmetic instead of pattern-matching.
