Light the Lamp is a physics puzzle game with one job: plug the cord into the socket. You control a power plug trailing a cord of fixed length, and the only way to reach a socket that's out of reach is to rotate the whole level around it, letting the cord coil and uncoil around platforms, corners and hazards as you go.
The obstacle isn't a timer or an enemy, it's geometry. Spinning razor blades sit in the path, some puzzles need two things pressed at once, and a cord that's too short to just walk over means every level is really a question of which way to turn the world first. Runs are short, so a wrong turn costs you seconds, not minutes.
Controls
- WASD or the arrow keys move the plug and rotate the world around it
- Use the restart button if a level gets tangled beyond saving
- A hint button at the top of the screen nudges you if you're stuck
Tips
- Watch where the cord is coiled before you move again — a plug that looks stuck is usually one rotation away from free
- Razor blades don't move to you, so slow down near them instead of rushing the plug into position
- Levels with two switches often want you to set up the first one, then rotate again before touching the second
Runs in the browser on desktop, phone or tablet with nothing to install — good for short sessions where you want a puzzle that clicks rather than a game that demands your full attention.
