Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer Game

Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer is a horror point-and-click adventure, the second chapter in the Forgotten Hill mystery series. After the events of Forgotten Hill: Fall, you arrive to find your girlfriend missing — and the trail leads into a grotesque puppet theatre.

Progress comes from exploring rooms like the ticket office, cloakroom, bathroom, kitchen and stage, picking up items, and working out what they're for. Puzzles lean on close observation: posters, photos and props hidden in the scenery often hold the clue you need for a lock, a switch, or a puppet you have to pose correctly.

Controls

Mouse only. Click on objects of interest to pick them up into your inventory, then click an inventory item and click again on whatever you want to use it on — another object, a door, or a puzzle piece in the scene.

Tips

• Click around every room fully before moving on — the game hides usable objects in ordinary-looking scenery.
• Hold onto items you can't use yet; puzzles here are frequently solved with something picked up several rooms earlier.
• When a puzzle references an image, like a poster, a photo, or a diagram, look for the exact pattern it's showing rather than guessing.

It's a slow, atmospheric game best suited to someone who wants to sit with a horror mystery and puzzle through it at their own pace, not race a clock.
