Dino Simulator drops you into the skin of a prehistoric predator — a towering T-Rex or an armored Triceratops — and turns you loose on an open, roaming landscape. There's no level to clear or timer to beat; the game is about survival. You hunt smaller animals for food, track down water before your thirst meter runs dry, and grow bigger and stronger the longer you last, which in turn opens up tougher prey and more dangerous rivals.
The pace shifts depending on what you're doing. Exploring is slow and open, scanning the terrain for the next meal or water source. Combat is quicker and more physical — closing the distance on prey or fending off another giant that's decided you look like a threat (or a meal). Managing your stats while staying alert to bigger predators is the real loop here, more survival sim than action game.
Controls
- Move: WASD or arrow keys
- Sprint: Shift
- Roar: R
- Attack: left mouse click
Tips
- Don't let sprint become your default gait — it drains you faster, and running blind into a bigger dinosaur's territory is how a good run ends early.
- Prioritize water over food the moment either meter dips; running out of both at once leaves you with no safe way to recover.
- A roar isn't just flavor — use it to size up whether a nearby predator backs off or squares up before you commit to a fight.
- Growth unlocks tougher prey but also tougher rivals, so hunt cautiously right after you level up rather than assuming your new size makes you untouchable.
It's a good fit for anyone who wants a slower, exploration-driven take on the dinosaur genre rather than an arcade chase — pick it up for a loose fifteen minutes or settle in and see how big you can grow.
