Big Tower Tiny Square is a single-screen precision platformer: you're a tiny square trying to climb a tall, trap-filled tower to rescue your pineapple. There's no story beyond that and no enemies to fight — every floor is a fixed layout of spikes, bullets, lava pits and narrow ledges that you have to jump, wall-jump and dodge your way past.
The whole game is built around dying a lot and getting a little further each time. Checkpoints unlock as you climb, so a bad jump costs you seconds, not the whole run, but the later floors ask for real precision — a jump timed half a beat early or late sends you straight back into the trap you were trying to clear.
Controls
Move: A/D or the Left/Right arrow keys
Jump: Space or the Up arrow
Restart: Y
Tips
- Wall-jumping is required on several floors — hold toward the wall as you jump off it, don't just jump straight up.
- Watch a new floor's hazard pattern once before committing to a run at it; most deaths come from jumping on reaction instead of memory.
- Use the Y restart key the instant you die instead of waiting to fall — it saves real time over a long climb.
It suits players who enjoy tight, repetition-based platformers like this over long sessions rather than one clean run — think Super Meat Boy's forgiving-checkpoints-but-brutal-execution style, on a single vertical screen.
