About Ball Blast

Ball Blast is a hypercasual arcade game from Voodoo where you control a cannon at the bottom of the screen, firing up at numbered balls that drop from above. Each hit knocks a point off a ball's number, and if it's still above zero when it breaks it splits into two smaller balls carrying the leftover number between them — so a single big ball can flood the screen with pieces if you let it fall too far before you start shooting.

The cannon fires by itself, so the only thing you control each second is position: drift too slowly and a ball drops straight into you, ending the run. Runs feed a coin total you spend between attempts on upgrades — more cannons, faster fire rate, stronger shots — so every failed run still buys you a better shot at beating your last score.

Controls

Drag the left mouse button left and right to move the cannon and shoot — on mobile, just drag your finger. There's no separate fire button, the cannon shoots on its own.

Tips

  • Don't try to clear a big number head-on. Let it split into smaller balls first, then mop up the pieces — it's fewer total hits than grinding down the original.
  • Spend early coins on fire rate over extra cannons. A faster stream stops numbers from stacking up on screen more reliably than more barrels do.
  • Keep drifting even when nothing is directly above you. A wide, steady sweep buys more reaction time than standing still and dodging at the last second.

It's built for short, replayable bursts rather than one long sitting — a good pick for a few minutes between games.

Ball Blast FAQ

How do you play Ball Blast?
Drag left and right to move your cannon under the falling numbered balls. It fires automatically, so aiming is really about where you stand, not when you shoot.
Why do the balls split when I hit them?
A ball's number is its remaining health. If it breaks above zero, it splits into two smaller balls that share the leftover number, so big balls take several hits to fully clear.
Does Ball Blast work on mobile?
Yes, it plays in a mobile browser with touch controls — drag your finger left and right instead of using the mouse.
What do the coins between rounds do?
Coins earned during a run can be spent on upgrades like fire rate, extra cannons and stronger shots, making the next attempt easier to survive.
