Snakes and Ladders is the classic board game translated straight to the browser: roll the dice, move your token that many squares, and try to be the first to reach the final square on the grid. Land at the foot of a ladder and you climb ahead; land on a snake's head and you slide back down toward the start.
There's no strategy to plan around — every move is decided by the roll — which is exactly what makes it a quick, low-pressure game to pick up for a few minutes or play through with someone else in the same room.
Controls
Click or tap the dice to roll and move your token. No keyboard controls are needed.
Tips
- Keep an eye on the board a few rows ahead — knowing where the big ladders and snakes are helps you read how close a game-changing roll actually is.
- Games can swing late; a single roll near the top of the board can still send you back to the bottom, so don't count a lead as a win until you're on the final square.
It's a two-player game, well suited to a quick match against a friend rather than a long solo session.
