About SlashZ

SlashZ is a precision-cutting puzzle game. Each level drops you onto a household object — a slice of cake, a shoe, a sandwich — with a handful of ladybugs scattered across its surface, and your job is to slice the object down until every remaining piece is as small as you can make it, all without cutting through a single bug.

The trick is planning your cuts around the bugs rather than just slicing wherever looks biggest. A swipe that would shrink the shape nicely is worthless if it clips a ladybug in half, so most levels come down to reading where the bugs are clustered and finding a cut path that boxes them in instead of through them. Over a hundred levels ramp up from simple household objects to trickier street-corner and food-vendor items, with bonus points along the way for freeing flying beetles, chaining cut combos, and landing a perfectly clean slice.

Controls

Click and swipe with the mouse — or tap and swipe on touch — to make a cut.

Tips

  • Locate every bug on the object before your first cut; a plan beats a reflex swipe.
  • Group nearby bugs into the same leftover piece instead of trying to save them individually.
  • Aim for fewer, more deliberate cuts — each one shrinks the target, so a clean, well-placed slice beats several rushed ones.

It's a desktop game with a short, replayable level structure, well suited to a few quick rounds between things rather than one long sitting.

SlashZ FAQ

How do I play SlashZ?
Click and swipe (or tap and swipe on touch screens) to cut the object on screen. Shrink it down as much as possible without cutting through any of the ladybugs scattered across it.
What happens if I cut a ladybug?
Cutting through a ladybug ruins the slice, so plan your cut path around where the bugs are clustered rather than swiping through the middle of the object.
Can I play SlashZ on mobile?
SlashZ is currently a desktop-only game; it isn't available for mobile play.
How many levels does SlashZ have?
There are over a hundred levels, starting with simple household objects and progressing to trickier street-corner and food-vendor items.
