About Maze: Path of Light

Maze: Path of Light hands you a glowing beam of light and a maze full of crossroads. At every junction the beam can branch left, right, straight ahead, or back the way it came, and you pick the direction — the goal is to route it all the way from the start to the exit door without dead-ending in a wall.

The game draws from thousands of different maze layouts, so no two sessions repeat in quite the same way. Each one is a fresh tangle of crossroads to read before you commit to a direction, which keeps it closer to a planning puzzle than a reflex game.

Controls

  • Mouse click to choose a direction
  • Arrow keys or WASD to select a path

Tips

  • Scan the whole junction before picking a direction — an early wrong turn can send the beam deep into a dead end.
  • Try to read two or three junctions ahead instead of one at a time, since paths cross and loop back on themselves.

It's built to run on desktop, phone, and tablet browsers, which makes it an easy pick for a few quiet minutes of maze-solving wherever you are.
