About Hexellent

Hexellent is a hex-tile merging puzzle: colorful hexagonal blocks fill up a board, and matching tiles combine as you stack them together. There's no clock pushing you along — the game is about looking at what you've got and deciding where the next tile actually belongs.

The whole thing is played with a mouse. Pick up a tile, drag it across the board, and let go where you want it to land. Careless placement crowds the board fast, so a good run comes down to reading the layout and planning a few moves ahead rather than reacting quickly.

Controls

Mouse only: click and hold a hex block to pick it up, drag it over the board, and release to drop it into place.

It suits short, low-pressure sessions — something to click through for a few minutes rather than a game built around a scoreboard chase.

Hexellent FAQ

How do you play Hexellent?
Click and hold a hex tile, drag it to where you want it on the board, and release to drop it. Matching tiles merge together as you place them.
Is Hexellent timed?
No, there's no clock or countdown. You can take as long as you like planning each move.
Do I need a keyboard to play?
No, Hexellent is controlled entirely with the mouse — there are no keyboard controls.
What happens if the board fills up?
Placing tiles carelessly crowds the board quickly, so the challenge is fitting each new tile in without running out of room.
