Football Masters is an arcade soccer game from Madpuffers, the studio behind Moto X3M and Basketball Stars. Instead of eleven-a-side realism, matches are fast 1v1 or 2v2 duels between big-headed cartoon players packed into a small arena, where the ball rarely sits still and one well-timed shot or slide tackle can flip the score.

Pick one of two playable characters, each with its own special move, then jump into a quick match or work through tournament mode, winning round after round to reach the final. Slide tackles knock the ball loose from an opponent mid-run, while a charged special shot can beat a goalkeeper that would block anything ordinary.

Tips

• Time your slide tackle for the moment an opponent commits to a shot or dribble — sliding early just leaves you out of position.
• Save the special move for a clear one-on-one look at goal, since it's strong enough to beat a keeper that would stop a normal shot.
• Tournament mode asks for several wins in a row, so play a couple of quick matches first to get a feel for your character's timing before committing to a full run.
