CircloO 2 is the official follow-up to Florian van Strien's original CircloO, and it keeps the same core idea: you're a small ball rolling around inside a circle, and the circle itself is the level. Instead of fixed platforms, the layout grows as you go — small rings are scattered around the inside of the circle, and collecting each one expands it a little further, shifting gravity and turning what used to be a wall into new floor.
There's no jump button. Getting through each of the 24 levels comes down to speed and momentum — rolling fast enough to carry you over gaps, up slopes, and past the tighter turns that show up once the circle has opened up further. The game keeps track of how long each run takes, so once you know a level's layout it's worth going back and trying to beat your own time.
Controls
- WASD or Arrow Keys: Roll the ball around the circle
Tips
- Keep your momentum up early — losing speed before the circle expands makes the obstacles that show up afterward much harder to clear.
- Pay attention to which way gravity shifts each time you pick up a ring; the circle's growth changes what counts as "down."
- Once you've finished a level, run it again. A clean second attempt, once you already know the layout, is usually a lot faster than the first.
It's a good fit if you enjoyed the original CircloO, or just like tight, physics-driven puzzle games with no story to follow — just 24 short, replayable levels and an original soundtrack by Stijn Cappetijn.
